Lately I have been ordering movies that I loved when I was kid on netflix for our kids to watch. This week it was the "The Apple Dumpling Gang". So I decided it would be fun to make apple dumplings and then watch the movie. I had never made them before and considering that I think it went pretty well. I finally found a job that I have more than enough experience for, and I can work from home. I'm watching my friends baby since she has returned to work. The best thing about it is I don't have to take Thor and Magnus to day care. The worst thing about it is that I have to be awake way earlier than I'm used too. It is almost full time which is cool, since the economy sucks it's nice to be making a little money.
I wish I could take credit for this idea but I can't. It's from one of my favortie websites, Home Ec 101 It's called dribs and drabs. You take all your left over shampoo, conditioner and body wash and mix it all in a big bottle and use it as body wash. Now I must admit I don't use it on me, but the four monkeys I have use soap like it's going out of style so this works great for them! Also we take it to the next level, since Enoch travels a lot and brings home hotel soaps and shampoos! Score! So anyways I love this idea and thought you guys might too.

After not leaving the house for three days because I was sick and having mainly the kids for conversation I've been so bored. So tonight I started goofing around with picnik.
Man it has been a busy couple weeks. Starting last week Enoch was home almost everyday which is nice, but also adds a little bit of stress mainly because I'm a control freak. I really like to run the household my way (because let's face it it's the better way).
Then this week started with Rory not feeling well Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.Then yesterday and today Magnus and Thor aren't feeling well. There's not much wrong with them except their running crazy high fevers peaking at 104 and going down with medicine and popsicles to 101.
Also last week I hurt my knee at the gym and it still feels weak and sore.
But on the bright side it looks like in a couple weeks we'll be buying a new washer and dryer which will be awesome!! I would also like to convince Enoch that I need a SLR camera and a new photo printer, we'll see how that goes.
I guess I'm just feeling a little overwhelmed trying to keep up with everything right now. But I also think that being overwhelmed is just a big part of life with little kids.
