I hate Wal-Mart and I am usually pretty vocal about it. I avoid Wal-Mart at all costs, most of the time. But today I was faced with a challenge I needed to buy enough food for the next two weeks(including food for sack lunches) and get the kids school shoes for less than $120.
So after a long internal monologue about the evils of Wal-Mart, I decided that I would go. As I parked my van I hoped I wouldn't run into anyone I know. I slunk in and I bought all the groceries, and two pairs of tennis shoes for a total of $109. I felt a little dirty a little guilty.
I wonder if there are other people in the same situation. Not wanting to support a large corporation(filled with goods from China and that generally stomps all over people), or not being able to afford to shop at other local groceries.
SO any ways I'm off to take a shower and to search for my social conscience.
Lately I have been feeling the urge to create things. It started last week when I took out my sewing machine to sew some ribbon on my pants. In the mean time I have started a couple of projects. I want to make a skirt out of old ties. I started it but I need to get more ties. (if anyone has good ideas on where to get some CHEAP let me know). I made another tutu, and under supervision of my mother in law I made a really cute outfit for Maggie. 
I think on Friday I'll pick up some more material and make a couple more. Also I think I might make my hair purple.
So this week has really kind of sucked. Not to bore you with the details, but Enoch and I have been fighting non-stop, which is rare in our relationship. I don't really know where we're at and who's right or wrong. I'm just tired of fighting. I've had to work this week which also sucks, because even if I work I still have to do all my home duties too. I feel exhausted from life.
On the good side I have made it to the gym everyday so far. :) yipee!
This week has been pretty tame. I mad it to the gym 5 of 7 days, and on one of those days we did pillates (which I'm pretty sure is Sanskrit for torture). Thursday we went to Flathead Lake with the lovely Patia. We also went to The American Museum of Crap. It was a lot of fun. 
I'm expecting Enoch home tonight and he said he was staying for the week. So that should be awesome. Sometimes I wonder if he gets lost on his way home. In the last four months we have spent a total of 7 days together and those weren't consecutive. So I think I'm going to go get a swim in at the gym and then come home and clean house.
